Selina’s is a great place to celebrate your children’s party!
Selina’s Cafe at Calmababy is a beautiful venue to hire for a party! We can cater for children’s parties up to pre-school age. Our venue comfortably seats 40 people with a standing capacity of 60-80 (depending upon use).
We have two children’s play areas–indoors in the cafe and outdoors in our sunny garden–both for children under five years of age. With its relaxed style and friendly atmosphere, our cafe is a genuinely family-friendly space.
Selina’s floor space is ample, so we can accommodate a wide range of children’s entertainment. From discos to chocolate fountains, balloon making, and wild science to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, we’ve hosted a lot over the years!
Prices and Venue Hire
Exclusive hire of Selina’s is available 4-7 pm on weekday evenings, 5-8 pm on Saturdays and 1-4 pm on Sundays. Venue hire on a sole basis is £35 per hour (for a minimum of 2 hours) plus £125 minimum menu order for party food. For smaller groups, please get in touch with us. We can, space and time permitting, reserve an area in the cafe for your event during our regular trading hours.
Selina’s kitchen will prepare the buffet for your children’s party using fresh, quality ingredients. We can also provide whole cakes or cupcakes, and you are welcome to bring a child’s birthday cake–please let us know in advance. Our kitchen can cater for most dietary requirements and tastes. Buffet prices start from:
- Up to 2 years – from £7.50 per child
- 2-5 years – from £8.50 per child
- Adults – from £12.00 per person
We are flexible in terms of your food choices, and our menu sample includes:
- Children – finger sandwiches, fruit kebabs, crisps, popcorn and mini cupcakes
- Adults – finger sandwiches & wraps, sausage rolls, coleslaw, salad and pasta salad
