We genuinely adore what we do and because we built Calmababy with love – love and big feelings exist here. Ours, yours and your children’s.
The Centre has changed so much over the last eight years. We’ve constantly strived to make it better – to evolve teaching practices, develop new classes, improve the facility and grow our team both in numbers and in knowledge.
Alongside this growth we’ve used the same three words under our Calmababy logo, these three words were Swim – Massage – Yoga. In truth, we’ve always felt they just weren’t quite right. Firstly, because they only told people a fraction of what we offer at our Centre. Secondly, because the words focus on what we ‘do’ here, rather than how people ‘feel’ here.
You see, how people feel matters to us, it really matters!
Is it strange that a business uses the word love? Probably! However, we don’t mind because love and emotion are the building blocks of our business. Our essence is to be a source of strength and resource for parents, we support the relationship that grows between them and their children in the early years.
We have a wealth of experience and knowledge about pregnancy, labour, birth, babies, toddlers and pre-school children. To summarise this abundance of wisdom and expertise into those three words, Swim – Massage – Yoga, just wasn’t capturing our essence, nor did it match the feedback parents gave us. So we tasked the fabulous people at Brave Agency with helping us discover something more meaningful.
Their advice was to ask our customers in a satisfaction survey, what they thought about us. Overwhelmingly the same theme popped up time and time again. That theme was being happy! You told us…
“Calmababy gives me weekly happiness”
“A happy place to make friends with other mothers”
“A special place to have quality time with my child”
“Supportive classes that helped my pregnancy”
“Somewhere I have created happy memories”
Calmababy means different things to different people – some of you find Happiness is… swimming with your baby, others find it sitting in the garden watching your children play or chatting with other parents. Some of you enjoy watching through the window as your grandchildren swim and show you their skills. Or happiness can simply be your weekly piece of cake that you enjoy in Selina’s or falling asleep on a sofa.
Because we do so many different things and everyone accesses Calmababy for different reasons, it became clear that it wasn’t up to us to tell you what makes you happy. You already know that! So instead we created an advertising campaign which allows you to tell us what makes you happy about Calmababy. The Happiness is… campaign was born.
