Immersion in water during pregnancy offers a feeling of calmness and relaxation. The mother’s body and her growing baby benefit from a gravity-free environment, enabling stretching and exercise in ways which can’t be achieved on land. Aquanatal classes are excellent for both swimmers and non-swimmers, especially those suffering from pregnancy pains such as pelvic discomfort, backache and SPD.
