Is it time to take the ‘should’ out of parenting? How often do you get asked about your babies sleep, or even if they are a ‘good’ baby? Do people pass opinion on what you ‘should’ be doing with your baby? Are you doing too much?
Our fabulous postnatal team have developed a group especially for postnatal mothers. It is designed to offer you space to slow down, plus a little support for life with your new baby. Including baby massage, relaxed walks and holds, breast-feeding support, settling and calming techniques, some gentle yoga stretches and pelvic floor exercises, plus information and time for talking and sharing experience and ideas.
Most of all, it is an honest, and often humorous, look at the reality, expectations, confusion, emotions and joys of being a modern day mum. With simple, usable hints and tips that could support your parenting style.
We’ve called it Coffee, Cake & Coping! Because we know that cake is an entire food group when you are postnatal! And often ‘Coping’ is what we feel like we are doing in the early weeks with a new baby!
Oh, and there’s cake…did we mention the cake!
This is a 5-week group costing £25. The £5 per week covers the sessions with coffee and cake served in Selina’s Tearoom at the end. Plus you receive a discount voucher for use against any classes!
Sessions run every Monday and Wednesday afternoon. With a maximum of eight spaces on each group, early booking is a very good idea!
